what does echo say at the beginnin gof podcast, around 00:34?
is it ke3 lian2: pitiful?
also the word of the day for 13.6.2011 reads ta zai yong dianhuaji da dianhua,but the voice only says ta zai da dianhua!!!

You can say “Ta1 xiang4 yi1 ge5 ming2xing1″ or “Ta1 kan4qi3lai2 xiang4 yi1 ge4 ming2xing1″.

@蓝大卫 - everyone used to call it 猪流感 (zhūliúgǎn) back in the spring, but now all the newspapers call it 甲型流感 (jiǎxíngliúgǎn). I take is the 甲 there is for the “1″ in H1N1. One of our recording artists got it a couple of weeks ago by the way (Andy). He claims it isn’t that bad for him, but he was apparently hospitalized so who knows.

Yeah, I will have some vitamin C whenever I have a cold. It’s really 有用（you3yong4). Another secret is to sleep more. It is very important for me.

A friend called me yesterday and asked me to do some sports with him. He said he will practice sports 2 hours a week against swine flu.
personally i think he should spend one hour a day on sports….

Lots of vitamin C is good for at least minimizing the duration of a cold
or flu. I once experienced aching legs from the flu and took about
10 grams (yes, 10 grams）of vitamin C. The aches cleared up in about
20 minutes! You have to be careful not to take too much or you can end up
with 拉肚子.

I wanted to drop you a note to let you know that I like the way you handled the vocabulary section for this lesson. Having the words listed in an enumerated fashion makes it very easy to scan them rather than reading them as part of a paragraph.
