Hi
wo shi meiguo ren , zhuzai malilan, hen jin likai huashundun. jiao Patty.

I'm brand new and working through the season 1 lessons. I'm glad I subscribed. I've been working with the FSI free lessons online and CC101 will let me update my vocabulary. I've also worked with Practical Chinese Reader and have the tapes for the first 4 volumes but I got a little stressed when they started throwing 80 new vocab at you per lesson. So I really like the gaps that give you time to imitate the speakers on CC101.

I have a lot to go before a catch up to you butI thought I'd post a question here from #15. Actually 2. One is, can maidan mean a checkout receipt at a grocery store?

The other is I notice some people typing in hanzi. How? I have NJStar for Vista, 這 是 拼音 好 嗎﹖
