Advanced Audio Blog S2 #9 - Memories of Wenchuan, Part I
Learn Chinese with ChineseClass101.com. Have you ever done something that you knew wasn't right, but you were following in the footsteps of someone else? That's how our Chinese volunteer feels in her memory when she and another person begin to eat apples that don't belong to them. But instead of being punished by the owner of the apples, she soon discovered that the apples were infested with grub worms. Her apple-eating days are gone! In another memory, she recalls the Chinese students referring to the soldiers as "Auntie," which enrages the soldier causing him to chase the student. This is all too funny because the Chinese student learned this term of respect from his teachers. Too bad all of his teachers were women at the beginning! Learning Chinese with ChineseClass101.com is the most fun and effective way to learn Chinese. In this Chinese Advanced Audio Blog, you will hear about one Chinese volunteer's memories while in China helping out on a film crew and about their uncle's route to being a volunteer as well.
