Earlier, while you were in your room, you heard the front door bang open and a girl’s voice begin to get louder. You know that they are at it again, but cannot hide in your room all day. You walk out to the kitchen with your head low. You reply in Chinese, “Good morning.” Both of them look at you oddly and go on with their argument without answering. Even my friend can see that you are overreacting.” Stifling a laugh, you know that he should not have said that and you can foresee what is going to happen. Even your precious friend can see that!!!” She walks to the front door and slams it behind her. You look hesitantly at your friend. He replies to you in Chinese, “She’ll be back, even you can see that…right?” What a start to the morning!
