Mandarin TV shows

Do anyone here know where I could watch TV/Dramas online in mandarin? Especially with subtitles? I've seen a lot on youku that are subtitled, but I have no way of knowing if they are in mandarin or not. I've just started learning chinese, and I'm trying to get my ear adjusted to listening to it by getting as much exposure to it as possible. Currently though I have no way of knowing if what I'm watching on youku is in mandarin, cantonese, etc. It wouldn't help me much if I'm trying to learn mandarin and I'm listening to something that is in cantonese. If anybody here have any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Good for you!! Watching Chinese TV and dramas sure helps a lot in learning Chinese!
Clips on Youku are mostly in Mandarin Chinese. They might have some Cantonese movies on there, but some are dubbed into Mandarin so you're probably on the right track.
And to answer your question, the other popular platform is tudou.com.

There are a lot of Chinese TV shows on Youtube now. You should search the Chinese titles instead of romaji Titles in order to watch without English subs. I recommend 还珠格格, it's my favorite childhood drama and the main reason why I wanted to learn Chinese.

There was an awesome series on 北京电视台 several years ago called 学汉语到北京. Thankfully I recorded a lot of them and periodically learn with them now, but no idea where anybody could find them nowadays...
