I'm a premium member and really enjoying ChineseClass101. As an intermediate learner, it is pitched just right.
Three suggestions:
1) Can you include some sort of incentive? Something like Memrise's point-based badges would be great, or Khan academy's badges. Rewards/badges for be for things like:
consecutive days studied,
completing a certain number of lessons,
adding a certain number of vocab words,
completing a certain number of lesson assignments
gaining 100% (or 80%) on a certain number of quizzes.
2) I'm signed up as a premium member, but I'm getting a lot of adverts asking me to become a premium member. Some are banners on the page, but also the information is repeated in every single lesson. I'd love for the in-lesson adverts to be eliminated, and for the banners to disappear completely for premium members.
3) I'm not taking much advantage of having a teacher available, mostly because I'm not sure how to do that. After all, the lessons are geared so they are self-explanatory. A page with suggestions as to how/when/why to interact with the teacher would be really helpful.
