word power app

Postby bill1691739059 » November 13th, 2012 3:04 pm

I recently downloaded theWord power app.....
The sample sentences are an absolute joke, they seem to have been recorded in high speed ridiculously fast..and almost impossible to follow.
Okay one might say its better to hear it as a Chinese person might actually say it, but its far quicker than any native speaker I heard speak when I was living in Shenyang. Its almost like there could be something in the settings to increase or decrease the speed he or she is talking and its set to full speed..ridiculous..
Try it yourself and tell me Im wrong..I wont be purchasing the full version..

Dear Colin

Thank you for your feedback. Actually in our app the language it may be a little bit fast, as Chinese languages (unlike Farsi for example) are generally quite rapidly spoken. This is something we will look into for further development of our applications.

However if you could take a time and click on the following lesson you will notice that on our website we have dialogues that are spoken both normal speed and slower version. Also with our premium services we have both normal and slow versions of the words and specific sentences.

Let us know if that is something you are looking for.

Kind Regards
