Welcome to Chinese Top Words. My name is Rui. Today, we are going to talk about 10 gift ideas you must know in Chinese. Let’s begin!
1. 唐装 (tángzhuāng) "Chinese suit from Tang Dynasty"
中国人喜欢看老外穿唐装。 (Zhōngguó rén xǐhuān kàn lǎowài chuān tángzhuāng.) "Chinese people like to see foreigners wear Chinese suits."
2. 瓷器 (cíqì) "chinaware"
这套瓷器价值连城。(Zhè tào cíqì jiàzhí liánchéng.) "This set of china is worth a lot of money."
3. 丝巾 (sī jīn) "silk scarf"
这是我从杭州带回来的丝巾。 (Zhè shì Wǒ cóng Hángzhōu dài huílai de sī jīn.) "This is a silk scarf I brought back from Hangzhou."
4. 中文书 (Zhōngwén shū) "Chinese book"
这是一本初级的中文书，送给你。 (Zhè shì yì běn chūjí de Zhōngwén shū, sòng gěi nǐ.) "This is a beginner-level Chinese book. It's for you."
5. 相机 (xiàngjī) "camera"
我喜欢用佳能相机。 (Wǒ xǐhuān yòng Jiānéng xiàngjī.) "I like to use Canon cameras."
6. 智能手机 (zhīnéng shǒujī) "smartphone"
现在人人都有智能手机。 (Xiànzài rénrén dōu yǒu zhīnéng shǒujī.) "Nowadays, everybody has a smartphone."
7. 香水 (xiāngshuǐ ) "perfume"
这个香水很好闻，是什么牌子的？ (Zhège xiāngshuǐ hěn hǎo wén, shì shénme páizi de?) "This perfume smells really good; what brand is it?"
8. 花 (huā ) "flower"
我女朋友过生日的时候我送了她一束花。 (Wǒ nǚpéngyou guò shēngrì de shíhou Wǒ sòngle tā yí shù huā .) "I sent my girlfriend flowers on her birthday."
9. 去中国的机票 (qù Zhōngguó de jīpiào) "a plane ticket to China"
哇，我居然收到了一张去中国的机票! (Wa, Wǒ jūrán shōudào le yì Zhāng qù Zhōngguó de jīpiào!) "Wow, I can't believe I got a plane ticket to China!"
10. 游戏机 (yóuxì jī ) "game console"
送他一部游戏机，他一定喜欢。 (Sòng tā yí bù yóuxì jī , tā yīdìng xǐhuān.) "Buy him a game console, I'm sure he will like it."
