Hello, my name is Yinru. Welcome to weekly words. Today, we are going to talk about negative adjectives. I haven’t seen any of these words before. So here we go.
难(nán)
难(nán) means difficult.
这个字很难。(Zhège zì hěn nán.)"This word is very difficult."
丑(chǒu)"ugly"
丑(chǒu) means "ugly"
Simple sentence we can say…我觉得你这个样子很丑。(Wǒ juéde nǐ zhège yàngzi hěn chǒu.)"I think you look ugly now." Sorry!
脏(zāng)"dirty"
脏(zāng) means "dirty"
这个餐馆很脏,我们不要去。(Zhège cānguǎn hěn zāng, wǒmen búyào qù.)"This restaurant is dirty, we don't want to go there."
生气(shēngqì)"angry"
生气(shēngqì) means "angry", very mad.
我今天做错了一件事,我的老板很生气。(Wǒ jīntiān zuò cuòle yíjiàn shì, wǒ de lǎobǎn hěn shēngqì.)"I did something wrong today, so my boss is very angry at me."
贵(guì)"expensive"
贵(guì) is ”expensive", “high price”.
现在的房子都很贵。(Xiànzài de fángzi dōu hěn guì.)"The price of houses are very expensive now."
