Hi everyone, welcome to Chinese weekly words! 欢迎大家来到 Chinese weekly words. This week 这星期 we are going to talk about Study Subjects. Okay 科目 (kēmù).
Okay we have 历史(lìshǐ) or 历史学(lìshǐ xué), it’s "history”.
历史有很多要背的东西。(Lìshǐ yǒu hěnduō yào bèi de dōngxī.)"There are a lot to memorize when you are taking history."
Next one is 科学(kēxué)
科学(kēxué) is ”science"
科学课上经常会做实验。(Kēxué kè shàng jīngcháng huì zuò shíyàn.)"In science class there are always a lot of experiments."
下一个是:物理(wùlǐ) or 物理学 (wùlǐ xué), that is ”physics"
物理很有趣，我觉得。(Wùlǐ hěn yǒu qù, wǒ juédé.)"Physics is very interesting, I think."
Next one is 生物学 (shēngwù xué) or 生物(shēngwù), which means ”biology"
When I see this word, the first thing that came to my mind is frogs.
生物课上会用到显微镜。(Shēngwù kè shàng huì yòng dào xiǎnwéijìng.)"In biology class you will have to use microscope."
显微镜 (xiǎnwéijìng) and 生物(shēngwù).
Next one, 化学(huàxué), another difficult subject for me, "chemistry”.
我的化学很不好。(Wǒ de huàxué hěn bù hǎo.)"When I was at school my chemistry was really not good."
