Just curious why the stories dont come with flashcards. As a teacher myself I find it useful for the students to learn the flashcards then read the books. It reinforces both skills

Where are the in depth lesson notes?! Plan details say they are available with every lesson, but there are none here. A lesson aimed at improving reading does not really work without them.

Hi Susi,

Thank you for posting. That's a great point!

You're right, to us, "rat" and "mouse" are the same thing. We just don't distinguish them in our language. That's why many Chinese don't know the difference between the two if you ask us.?

Similar concept goes for "mountain" and "hill," they are the same thing to us ?

Let us know if you have any questions.

I really like rats (pet rats) and they're quite popular here in the UK. I've noticed that in Chinese there is just one character for a mouse and a rat and most dictionaries translate them just as shu, but they are definitely different species. Is there a way in Chinese to distinguish between rats and mice at all?

Many thanks.
