Intro
|
Becky: Thought you knew all there is to know about our number one language learning app? Well, here’s one more big announcement! |
Becky: Welcome to Sunday News with Innovative Language! I'm Becky and I'll be hosting this Sunday news with my co-host, the founder of Innovative Language... Peter Galante! |
Peter: Hi everyone! Peter here. |
Becky: In this Sunday News, we’ve got some great news for the Android users out there! |
Peter: ...We know you’ve been waiting patiently for the Innovative Language 101 App for Android. And it’s finally here. |
BODY |
Becky: Attention listeners... |
Peter: And more specifically, Android users... |
Becky: ...You’ve asked for it, you’ve waited... |
Peter: And patiently, I might add, because we’ve been talking about the iPhone app for a long time now. |
Becky: We have! But, Peter, let’s get to the good news right away. |
Peter: Okay! Our number one language learning app... |
Becky: ...Innovative Language 101... |
Peter: ...is finally available for Android, listeners! |
Becky: If you’re ready to learn language on the go and just can’t wait... |
Peter: The download link is in the lesson description. Click on it now and download it for free. |
Becky: So, Peter, as of now, it’s available for Android, iPhone, iPad and.... |
Peter:...Kindle FIRE! |
Becky: ...And it’s available for all of our users - so if you’re a Free, Basic, Premium or a Premium PLUS member... |
Peter: ...You can log in with your site username and password and start learning language right away. |
Becky: But, if you want to unlock unlimited Premium access to our advanced learning system... |
Peter: ...which gives you Premium access to the Innovative Language 101 App... |
Becky: We’ll tell you how you can do that in just a bit... |
Peter: ...First, let’s talk about the new Android App, Becky. I know many of our listeners have been waiting for this one. |
Becky: Well, there are some differences with the Android version which we’ll get to in second... |
Peter: But overall, it’s the same thing. |
Becky: You get our advanced language learning system - the lessons, the lesson notes... |
Peter: ...You get to track your progress with progress bars and see how much you’ve learned. |
Becky: And it syncs your progress with our websites so you can switch between learning on your device and on your computer. |
Peter: This is really useful if you’re jumping back and forth from your phone to your computer. |
Becky: I do that with Facebook! I check it on my phone... and then on my laptop when I’m at home... |
Peter: It’s exactly like that. Except, you’re actually learning and improving your language instead of just reading your friends statuses! |
Becky: Listeners, we’ve also included Premium tools such as line-by-line audio and lesson vocabulary lists... |
Peter: ...So you can listen to the dialogue, line by line, read along, and understand it all. |
Becky: With vocabulary lists, you get to read, hear and review the key words from each lesson. |
Peter: And, listeners, you can download lessons to your device and learn without an Internet connection. |
Becky: Finally, you can learn 28 of our Innovative Languages with this app. |
Peter: Try them for free with a free lifetime account or do an easy in-app upgrade to Basic or Premium. |
Becky: Now, the difference with the Android app is that there are only 28 languages available... |
Peter: ...And we have 31 languages total at Innovative Language. |
Becky: So, ArabicPod101, HebrewPod101 and PersianPod101 are not on the app. |
Peter: That’s only because Android doesn’t yet support these languages. |
Becky: In the meantime, listeners, you can use the mobile web app for those languages. |
Peter: That’s a great tip, Becky. Find the mobile web app in the resources drop down menu of our site. |
Becky: And with it, you can access the mobile version of the site in your device browser. |
Peter: So, listeners, download Innovative Language 101 for Android.... |
Becky: ...as well as the iPhone, iPad or Kindle FIRE. Just click on the link in the lesson description. |
Peter: And if you want complete Premium access, here’s a quick 20% discount. |
Becky: Get 20% OFF Premium and unlock our entire learning system, including Premium access to this app. |
Peter: Just use coupon code ILLAPP101. |
Becky: Or even easier, click on the link in the lesson description. |
Peter: But hurry, this quick 20% discount ends on Wednesday, June 4th, 2014! |
Outro
|
Becky: Okay, well that’s going to do it for this edition of Innovative Language Learning Sunday news! |
Peter: Bye everyone! |
Becky: Thanks for listening, and we’ll see you all next time. |

Hello Harmen,
Thank you for posting again!
As we mentioned before, “My library” tab is to create a personal list.
If you have any issue with the download feature, or if you need help with any of our apps, please send us a mail to> contactus@ChineseClass101.com .
Kind regards,

Unfortunately there isn't a flash card app for android :sob:
How do I create a 'personal list' with the app?
Hi Harmen,
Thank you for your feedback.
Please have a look here, you can find all the features, though in different applications:
https://www.chineseclass101.com/apps/#ill101
https://www.innovativelanguage.com/products/android/lang/10
"My library" tab is to create a personal list.
If you have any issue with the download feature, please send us a mail to contactus@ChineseClass101.com .
Thank you,

I also miss the grammar section; it often elaborates more on the topics at hand than the Lesson Notes. And what is the purpose of the 'My Library' tab in the app? It is always empty. I have the option to download a lesson, but that doesn't seem to do anything either. When I download something, where can I find it?
I love the app, but I would like to see the word bank & flashcards features incorporated as well. They seem only to be accessible through the normal website, the mobile version of the website doesn't have it either. I find these two tools indispensable, and it hinders my progress that I don't have them available when I'm on the road, travelling by train, waiting for the bus, etc.
