| The Chinese ü sound is a little bit tricky to pronounce. An excellent way to make this sound is to first make the English /i/ sound, like in the word "beat," and round your lips without moving your tongue. This is like producing [i] and simultaneously trying to say [u] by maintaining the tongue in the front position. |
