The phrase, “I would like...” in Chinese is 請給我(qíng géi wǒ).
Let’s break it down by tone:
First, we have 請(qǐng). In this phrase, this is in third tone.
Next, we have 給(gěi). This is in third tone.
Finally, we have 我(wǒ). This is in third tone.
Usually 請(qǐng) is in third tone, but because it is followed by 給(gěi), it becomes second tone. In addition, usually, 給(gěi) is in third tone, but because it is followed by 我(wǒ), it becomes second tone.
Next, let’s break it down by meaning:
請(qǐng) means “please.”
給(gěi) means “to give.”
我(wǒ) is “me” or “I.”
Literally, this phrase means “Please give me…” or “I would like…”
Altogether, we have 請給我(qíng géi wǒ).
Listen again, one more time, slowly:
[Slow] 請給我(qíng géi wǒ)...
[Normal] 請給我(qíng géi wǒ)...
You can add “this” to the phrase to ask, "Please give me this"
“This” in Chinese is 這個 (zhège).
Let’s break it down by tone:
這 (zhè) is in fourth tone.
個 (ge) has no tone.
Let’s listen to it one more time:

[Normal] 這個(zhège)
Putting both phrases together, we have 請給我這個(Qíng géi wǒ zhège).
