Hi, William,
Thank you for your comment!
Here is the answers for your questions.
1. Because the levels of different users are different, so we just give some of the words which are supposed to be new to learners on the Vocabulary section. So to a certain learner, if there is a new word which cannot be found in Vocabulary section, you can just leave us a message. Your questions are always welcome.
2. For the reason why some of the words don’t match the pinyin, it is because the audio was not clear enough to hear.
She did say 另一邊 as lìng yì biān/lìng yì bian(a rule of light tone), but she said too fast to hear clearly. I also heard the 另 was between lìng and lei4.
Also for 還能用,whatever you hear, hái néngyòng is correct.
It is just as same as English. The native English speakers will probably not pronounce word by word or slow enough for you to hear clearly. But if you know English very well, you can catch them.
So, For a foreign language, we have to listen again and again to the native voices.

Hi John,
Please notice that the question is about the "old printer."
Try to listen again!
Thank you,

I think the answer should be the bottom left near the window! It had the check mark in top right but that suggestion to put the printer there was shut down.

Hi,
I'm really enjoying using your videos and materials and the subscription is well worth the investment.
It just feels like with this particular video that there is alot of vocab not included on the Vocabulary section, that is essential to understand if you stand a chance of getting the right answer..
Plus, it sounds like some of the words don't match the pinyin. Is this to expose you to contractions used in natural speech or regional differences?
e.g. 另一邊 sound like 'lei4 yi1' bian4 as oppose to lìng yìbiān, 還能用 sounds like 'hei2nei2 yong4 as oppose to hái néngyòng
Also first line audio clip from the dialogue is incorrect.
I'm not complaining honest!!! It's a great website!!?
Thanks
Will
