Hi! 大家好!欢迎来到Chinese weekly words. Welcome to Chinese weekly words. So this week, we are going to talk about – Oh this week, the words are going to be about the flavors. Okay interesting.

咸(xián) means too much salt, "salty"
这个菜太咸了.(zhège cài tài xián le.)"This dish is too salty."
甜(tián)
甜(tián) is ”sweet"
我喜欢吃西瓜,因为西瓜很甜.(wǒ xǐhuān chī xīguā , yīnwèi xīguā hěn tián.)"I like watermelons because watermelons are sweet."
苦(kǔ)
苦(kǔ) is ”bitter"
什么很苦呢?(Shénme hěn kǔ ne?) What is bitter?
中药很苦.(zhōngyào hěn kǔ.)"Chinese medicine, the herbal medicine is truly bitter.”
下一个是:辣(là)
辣(là) is ”spicy"
川菜很辣.(chuāncài hěn là.)"Sichuan food is usually very spicy."
Next one is 酸(suān)
酸(suān) is ”sour"
我不喜欢吃酸的.(wǒ bù xǐhuān chī suān de.)"I don't like sour" or "I don't like sour food." Anything sour, I really don’t like it.
