Hi everyone. Welcome to Chinese weekly words. 欢迎来到Chinese weekly words. I am Yinru and this week, we are going to talk about furniture，家具 (jiājù).
第一个是:书架(shūjià)
书架(shūjià) is ”book shelf"
书架上有很多书.(shūjià shàng yǒu hěn duō shū.)"There're many books on the bookshelf."
下一个是:书桌(shūzhuō)
So 书 (shū) “book”, 桌(zhuō) "desk" or “table”, so 书桌(shūzhuō) is “desk”.
我的书桌很乱.(wǒ de shūzhuō hěn luàn.)"My desk is messy."
下一个是:椅子(yǐzi)
椅子(yǐzi) means ”chair"
这个椅子太舒服了.(zhège yǐzi tài shūfú le.)"This chair is so comfortable."
下一个是:沙发(shāfā)
You can tell from the pronunciation, maybe, 沙发(shāfā) is “sofa”.
这是一个真皮沙发.(zhè shì yí ge zhēnpí shāfā.)"This is a leather sofa."
真皮沙发 (zhēnpí shāfā)
Okay. 下一个是:桌子(zhuōzi)
桌子(zhuōzi) is ”table"
桌子上有...
桌子下有一只蟑螂.(zhuōzi xià yǒu yì zhī zhāngláng.)"There is a cockroach under the table."
