Hi guys, welcome to Chinese weekly words. 欢迎来到 Chinese weekly words! And what are we going to have today. Let’s find out together. We are going to talk about home tools today. What’s the first one?
The first one is 卷尺(juǎnchǐ)
卷尺(juǎnchǐ) is ”tape measure"
我的卷尺找不到了.(Wǒ de juǎnchǐ zhǎo bu dào le.)"I cannot find my tape measure."
下一个是:工具箱(gōngjù xiāng)
工具箱(gōngjù xiāng) means ”tool box"
他的工具箱里有很多好东西.(tā de gōngjù xiāng lǐ yǒu hěn duō hǎo dōngxi.)"There is a lot of good stuff in his tool box."
下一个是:螺丝刀(luósīdāo) "screwdriver"
这是一个电动的螺丝刀.(zhè shì yí ge diàndòng de luósīdāo.)"This is an electric screwdriver."
And there are electric screwdrivers, right?
下一个是:锤子(chuízi)
锤子(chuízi) means ”hammer"
我去隔壁借一个锤子.(Wǒ qù gébì jiè yí ge chuízi.) "I'll go to next door to borrow a hammer."
下一个是:锯子(jùzi)
锯子(jùzi) is ”saw”. Sounds scary.
这个锯子看起来很可怕.(zhège jùzi kàn qǐlái hěn kěpà.)"This saw looks scary."
